Creative centre in the heart of Asia
Every year, a special exhibition presents the winning products of the red dot award: design concept? in the red dot design museum, Singapore for four weeks. The exhibition opening takes place on the day of the presentation of the awards. For this purpose, a ceremony is organised for winners, invited guests and the design-interested public that sets standards.
Following the special exhibition, all award-winning products will be presented for at least one year in the red dot design museum. The second red dot design museum, established in Singapore at the centre of a growing design scene in Asia, is a suitable home for the red dot award: design concept.
Situated in the central business district of Singapore, the red dot design museum is housed within a heritage building, which was formerly the Traffic Police Headquarters. Today, the building painted in bright red is the creative centre of Singapore and the red dot design museum is its main attraction.
