Entry Instructions

Submitting your work for the red dot award: design concept is a 2-step process.

First, register at “register online”. At the online form you will need to give a Login ID and Password. This ID and password will be required when you submit your work.

After registration is complete and payment is received, you may submit your entry. Submit your entry at “submit your work".

Entry requirements

Design concepts are presented to the jury in A3 sized presentations. Login and upload your work online, it will be printed to hard copy for the adjudication discussions.

Presentation requirements:

• English only
• Images of the product in various perspectives, include text explanation and use scenario
• Focus on novelty of the design concept
• Not more than 3 pages long

Format requirements:

• DIN A3 size
• EPS, JPEG, TIF, PDF
• Minimum font size: 12 points
• Layout must be in portrait orientation
• Include on the bottom left hand corner:
  • Page number, and Total number of pages
• Do NOT include your Name, Country, Institution Name, or Company Name

Additional optional materials

• Video (wmv, swf, quicktime formats only)
• Prototypes or models (please see delivery and recovery for the delivery and return of your model/prototype)
