With an outlet for water recycling as well as a drain for its disposal, Cycle–Basin encourages us to re-think our wasteful ways with water.
Not all of the water we consume in our daily lives needs be sent down the drain after use. For example, water that has been used to wash the vegetables can be used again to water the flowers, clean the floor, or wash the toilet. However, harvesting our used water cannot be easily done.
Cycle–Basin is a low-cost basin that can conveniently capture used water for recycling. It has two outlets. One of these leads to the sewer, and the other allows for recycling. The user can select their drainage destination according to the nature of their initial water use. Extremely dirty water, for example, can be sent down the drain, while reusable water can be directed through a pipe and tap to a bucket.
Cycle–Basin has been designed to save water as well as to help people save money. |
