HUMAN ENERGY RECYCLE SYSTEM

HERS

Human Energy Recycle System proposes that the energy emitted by people (or even their pets) could be gathered and used to power other devices.

People endlessly emit energy in various ways. It may be a small amount on an individual basis, but when multiplied by six billion, it becomes significant. Human Energy Recycle System gathers energy from everyday life, stores it in a battery, and applies it as supplementary electricity. It proposes a new lifestyle for people, with lower electrical bills and relief for the environment.

One part of the Human Energy Recycle System is the suite of lightweight, portable units called “Solution” units. These units collect energy from shaking, from spinning, from the human heartbeat, from human body temperature, or from various types of movement. For example, one “Solution” unit is worn as a wristband; another is carried in the pocket near the heart; yet another is spun on the finger. A “Standard Battery” is inserted into these units to collect their energy.

If power is suddenly needed to power a mobile device, the units can be directly connected to the device and provide it. Alternately back at home, the battery can be inserted into an “Application Built-in Type” and stored. The “Application” units perform the roles of storing and supplying power.

An “Application Portable Type” unit can also be inserted into the “Application Built-in Type” at home. However, by inserting a “Standard Battery” into an “Application Portable Type” unit, the unit can perform as a portable energy pack that collects large amounts of energy from the use of devices such as exercise machines and bicycles. It also serves as the hub within the “Application Built-in Type,” accepting the energy gathered in the various “Solution” units.

The “Standard Battery” is a proposed new international standard battery. Its basic size is ISO 216: A10 size and it can respond well to various uses. The “Solution” units have been designed to slot into future mobile devices.

A certification mark is proposed for every device in the Human Energy Recycle System. This would bestow upon users a sense of pride for their contribution to the improvement of the environment. The logo form communicates the message: “healing the earth through small acts.”

With the introduction of the Human Energy Recycle System, athletes and workers with manual labour-intensive jobs would be granted a new social status as they play the role of energy producers.
