Jarikki is a water bottle that provides the user convenient access to water during the user’s sleeping hours.
“Jarikki” means “to prepare water for the bedside before one goes to bed” in Korean. Besides its translated meaning, “jarikki” refers to the Korean way of life in a larger cultural context. It is also a word used to express emotion and affection.
Jarikki is a water bottle that contains water. Its main purpose is to provide the user with convenient access to water during the user’s sleeping hours. The water in the bottle gives off a warm glow of light. This expresses the conceptual intention of the flow of time, as well as adding to the cosiness of the interior space. The motif used is that of bamboos. The trianglular details express beauty and stability. |
