During day time, MARK can be used as a normal book mark, but at night it can be used as an illuminating device to assist reading.
MARK is a light source that can be used while reading at night. Placed between the pages of a book, just like any other book mark, it provides the reader with a light source, but avoids disturbing others. MARK is conceived as a thin and flexible sheet embedded with FOLEDs (Flexible Organic Light Emitting Diodes, or similar technologies), which can glow. The intensity of light can be controlled according to the reader’s requirements. FOLEDs are organic light emitting devices that are built on flexible substrates such as plastics, or metallic foils.
